Plans

Priced by invoices,
not by who you invoice.

Every other tool in this category charges by client, by user, or by the size of your business — and most of them refuse to work at all unless you run QuickBooks or Xero. DueBell charges for the invoices it takes on in a given month, gives you unlimited users on every plan, and needs no accounting software whatsoever.

The trial does not end in a wall. Fourteen days of full Autopilot, no card. When it finishes your account drops to Starter — you keep DueBell, your data and your history, just without the automatic sending.

More than 150 invoices a month? Or several businesses under one account, or invoicing on behalf of clients as a bookkeeper? All three work — write to hello@duebell.io and we will set it up with you.

Soft limits

Going over does not
switch anything off.

A busy month should not mean invoices stop being chased. Landscaping has a spring, cleaning has a January — a hard cut-off would lock you out in exactly the month you most need the money in.

At the limit

A sentence, not an alarm

“You’re at 54 of 50 this month — nothing stopped, let’s look at the plan.” One line in the dashboard. No email campaign, no banner following you around.

Over the limit

Reminders keep going

Everything already scheduled still sends, and new invoices still get picked up. Nothing is paused mid-sequence because of a counter.

Second month over

You decide, not us

Only after two consecutive months over the limit do we suggest the next plan — with your own numbers attached. Upgrading is your call, and downgrading works the same way.

SMS is the one allowance that is real. Every text is paid to a carrier, so the monthly number is what you get: 100 on Autopilot, 300 on Command. When it runs out, reminders carry on by email until the next cycle. Emails, users and clients have no limit on any plan.

The model

Why invoices,
and not clients.

Per-client pricing punishes exactly the wrong thing. A cleaning company with sixty small accounts is not sixty times harder to serve than one with a single contract — but on most tools it pays sixty times more.

Our cost is a reminder: an email, sometimes an SMS, and the matching that decides whether either should go out at all. So that is the unit you pay for. Add as many clients as you like; if a month is quiet, the work is small and so is the plan you need.

The maths

One recovered invoice
pays for the year.

Autopilot costs $390 a year when paid annually. A single $2,400 invoice that would otherwise have drifted for another two months covers that six times over — and your dashboard shows the real figure for your business, not this one.

Billing FAQ

Questions about paying for it

Every invoice you upload with a balance still outstanding counts once, in the month you upload it. Chasing the same invoice into a second or third month costs nothing more. Invoices already settled when you imported them — your historical backlog at setup — do not count at all, and neither does a duplicate the system catches.

No. Pausing — because a client replied, promised to pay, or disputed something — protects the relationship; it is not a billing lever. If it returned the count, the limit would be fiction: upload five hundred invoices, pause four hundred and eighty, work through them slowly. There is a genuine escape hatch though: anything deleted within seven days of upload returns the count, so a mistaken import costs nothing.

No, and that is deliberate. Everything you upload joins the queue automatically and you pause the exceptions. Ticking a box on every invoice would move the work straight back to you — which is the work you came here to stop doing.

Nothing switches off. You get one line in the dashboard — “you’re at 54 of 50 this month, nothing stopped” — and everything keeps running. Only after two consecutive months over do we suggest the next plan, with your own numbers attached. A hard cut-off would lock a landscaper out in spring, which is exactly the month the money matters most.

Your account drops to Starter. You keep DueBell, your data, your history and your templates — you lose the automatic sending and the SMS allowance, and the monthly limit becomes five invoices. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and no card was needed to start the trial in the first place.

Included. Autopilot comes with 100 texts a month and Command with 300 — sized so that a normal month never runs out. If it does, reminders continue by email until the next cycle and nothing stops. Email reminders are unlimited on every plan, including the free one.

As many as you like, on every plan including the free one. Your bookkeeper, your office manager and your partner cost us nothing to add, so charging per seat would be charging for nothing.

That usually means one of two things: you run several businesses and want them under one account, or you handle invoicing on behalf of clients as a bookkeeper. Both work well, and both are easier to set up correctly from the start than to untangle later — write to hello@duebell.io and we will arrange it with you.

Yes, from your account, without emailing anyone. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated, downgrades take effect at the end of the period, and cancelling leaves your data intact until you export or delete it.

Prices are shown excluding tax. VAT, GST or sales tax is added at checkout based on your billing country, and valid EU VAT numbers are handled under reverse charge.

If you manage invoicing for several businesses, get in touch before signing up — a multi-account arrangement usually makes more sense than several separate plans, and it is easier to set up correctly from the start.
